Not far from Ottawa you will find the beauty of the expansive Gatineau Park best known for its thick forests and wonderful lookout views. What to Expect: The area has a labyrinth of trails that go on for days, vary in distance with some nclines to immerse yourself in. Our hikes are private, you will NOT be paired up with other hikers. Enjoy a safe and beautiful hike through the Gatineau Hills area with our passionate guide that is trained in First Aid, has a lifetime of hiking and back country experience behind them. Hike Description: King Mountain Gatineau Hills Lake The main hike is a 5.5km hike with moderate elevations, will be approximately 2.5 to 3.5 hours. Meech Lake The main hike is a 6.5km hike with moderate elevations, will be approximately 3.5 hours. There is a bench to stop at to take in the scenery and enjoy a snack before continuing our trek. The path narrows before reaching the forest canopy. These hikes are customizable and can be made longer with additional trails and views. Advise which location you are wanting to hike when you book. What to Bring: Water, snacks, appropriate clothing, based on the weather forecast, closed toe shoes are required, hiking boots/shoes or running shoes are preferred.
