Workshop - Learn to Backcountry Camp (Tripping)
A weekend adventure designed to teach you everything you need to know about camping in the backcountry.
Are you ready to get away from the crowds in the campgrounds and enjoy your own piece of nature, but lack the skills to camp competently & safely in the backcountry ?
Then the Step it Up Adventures' Tripping Workshop is for you!
Only $500 per camper, everything is included: food, canoe and camping equipment.
$250 secures your spot on the Workshop.
Spring Session: 30 May - 01 June, 2025
Early session for the post-secondary students heading off to their summer jobs.
Student Discounts:

10% discount for all individual students that book ($450 - 1st student).

20% discount for your friend when booking with a second student ($400 - 2nd student).

30% discount for your third (or more) friend(s) when booking with two or more other students. ($350 - 3rd, 4th etc. student).
NOTE: Discounts will be applied to the final in person payment, all campers are required to leave the $250 deposit at time of booking.
Summer Session: 18 - 20 July, 2025
Summer session when the weather is perfect, but early enough to still book an August backcountry trip once you have acquired the skills to safety and confidently complete one.
